Vibro-CH

Vibro-CH

Vibro-CH is a high-performance spring anti-vibration hanger designed to reduce vibration and noise transmission in suspended ceiling systems and mechanical installations. It provides effective isolation across both low and high frequencies, ensuring stable acoustic performance in demanding environments.

Engineered for versatility, Vibro-CH combines a galvanised steel frame, a precision steel spring, and an integrated elastomer damping element. This hybrid configuration improves vibration control while preventing rigid metal-to-metal contact, ensuring effective acoustic decoupling.

The system is widely used in floating gypsum board ceilings, HVAC installations, piping systems, and suspended equipment such as loudspeakers and fan coil units. Vibro-CH is designed for precise load distribution, adjustable pre-loading, and reliable long-term performance in both residential and commercial applications.

Its ability to accommodate angular misalignment of up to 30 degrees makes it suitable for complex installation geometries without compromising acoustic integrity.

Key Features

  • Effective isolation of low and high frequency vibrations
  • Prevents acoustic bridges in suspended systems
  • Steel spring combined with elastomer damping element
  • Galvanised steel frame for durability and corrosion resistance
  • Suitable for ceilings, ducts, pipes, and suspended equipment
  • Adjustable pre-load for precise levelling and performance tuning
  • Allows angular misalignment up to 30°
  • Designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation

Applications

  • Floating gypsum board ceilings
  • Recording and rehearsal studios
  • Cinemas and theatres
  • HVAC ducts and air distribution systems
  • Fan coil units and mechanical equipment
  • Loudspeakers and suspended technical systems

Technical Data

  • Material: Galvanised steel frame with steel spring and elastomer damping element
  • Maximum load: up to 150 daN (depending on model)
  • Deflection: up to 25 mm at maximum load
  • Natural frequency: approx. 3 Hz at maximum load
  • Installation: suspended ceiling and mechanical suspension systems
  • Adjustment: pre-loading nut for levelling and load control
  • Misalignment tolerance: up to 30°

Installation

Vibro-CH is installed by fixing each hanger to the structural ceiling using appropriate anchors and a threaded suspension rod passing through the isolator assembly. The suspended ceiling or equipment frame is then connected to the lower mounting point of the hanger.

Hangers are positioned according to load distribution requirements, typically around 4 units per m² for ceiling applications. The system is adjusted by tightening or loosening the lower nut to achieve precise levelling.

The spring and elastomer components ensure that vibration is isolated without creating rigid connections between structural elements.

Important:

  • All metal channels must remain fully separated from surrounding walls to prevent acoustic bridges.
  • All fixing points must include metal washers to ensure secure load distribution.
  • Installation must follow load calculations to ensure optimal performance.
