Vibro-SH is a high-performance spring anti-vibration hanger designed for suspended gypsum board ceilings and other hanging systems. It provides exceptional low-frequency vibration isolation while maintaining structural stability in acoustically sensitive environments.


Engineered for cinemas, recording studios, theatres, and other high-performance spaces, Vibro-SH ensures effective decoupling between suspended elements and the building structure. It significantly reduces structure-borne noise transmission from upper floors, mechanical systems, and building services.


The system combines a galvanised steel frame with a precision-engineered steel spring that targets low-frequency vibration control. An integrated elastomer damping element acts as a sound break, preventing rigid metal-to-metal contact and improving overall acoustic performance. Vibro-SH is designed for precise levelling and adjustable pre-loading, ensuring optimal performance across different ceiling loads and configurations.


With a natural frequency as low as 3 Hz, Vibro-SH delivers outstanding isolation performance for demanding suspended ceiling applications.

Installation

Vibro-SH is installed by fixing the hanger to the structural ceiling using a suitable anchor and threaded rod passing through the suspension point. The suspended frame is then connected to the lower mounting legs of the hanger.


Hangers are positioned according to the ceiling layout and total load requirements, typically distributed evenly across the surface to ensure uniform support.


The system allows vertical adjustment via the lower nut, enabling precise levelling of the suspended ceiling structure.


Important:

  • All metal channels must remain fully separated from surrounding walls to prevent acoustic bridges.
  • All fixing points must include metal washers to ensure secure load distribution.
  • The system must be installed according to load calculations to ensure optimal performance.
